WHAT IS THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION'S PRIORITY FOR UKRAINE?

At Earth Future Action, we completely condemn Russia's brutal invasion of Ukraine. We want this war to be brought to an end. We are therefore disturbed that Biden's National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, has added another issue to the conflict— the United States openly stating they want a weakened Russia. We need an international peace conference to resolve this issue. What is the ultimate priority? To save Ukrainian lives? Or to weaken Russia? It's going to be very difficult to bring Russia to the negotiating table if our country continues to push Ukraine deeper and deeper into the conflict. This war is a very serious situation. It could threaten a nuclear confrontation between America and Russia and is certain to do very serious harm to the US economy and the world economy. This is a war that needs to end.

On April 10th, 2022, Jake Sullivan, made an appearance on NBC's Meet the Press. He said the United States wants to see a free and independent Ukraine and an isolated Russia. Here are some quotes.

"At the end of the day, what we want to see is a free and independent Ukraine, a weakened and isolated Russia, and a stronger, more unified, more determined West," he said. "We believe that all three of those objectives are in sight, can be accomplished, and we will do what it takes to support the Ukrainians in their effort to help bring those objectives about."
