America remains the only modern state that does not see health care as a right. This is unacceptable, especially considering that over 500,000 people have died from a pandemic. America is in the midst of a health care emergency. It's time to provide health care for all.
2021 JAYAPAL AND DINGELL MEDICARE FOR ALL BILL
On March 17th, 2021, U.S. Representatives Jayapal (D-Wash.)and Dingell (D-Mich.) introduced the Medicare for All Act With 112 Co-Sponsors, exactly one year after the first coronavirus cases were confirmed in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. Jayapal and Dingell unveiled the landmark legislation at a virtual town hall Wednesday afternoon, where they highlighted the devastating effects of a virus that has killed more than 537,000 people in the United States while leaving millions more uninsured due to pandemic-related job loss and underemployment.
The legislation also boasts backers like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).

BERNIE SANDERS 2019 MEDICARE FOR ALL PLAN
Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) released his Medicare for All Plan on April 10th, 2019,. This plan will be an important part of his 2020 Presidential Campaign. The goal of this plan is to create a government-run system to provide health insurance for all Americans. The Sanders bill will also cover long-term care for people with disabilities. Sanders hopes embracing a sweeping change in the American health care system will help separate him from a crowded primary field.

PRAMILA JAYAPAL'S 2019 MEDICARE FOR ALL PLAN
Representative Pramila Jayapal's (D-WA) introduced her Medicare for All bill on March 13th, 2019. Her plan is being hailed as an "astonishingly strong" plan and more than 100 congressional co-sponsors are on Jayapal's side. Her bill envisions a quick transition to a public health care plan with a robust set of benefits.
