PAKISTAN'S FLOOD VICTIMS URGENTLY NEED HELP

A THIRD OF THE COUNTRY IS UNDER WATER!

A third of the country is underwater, and more than 33 million Pakistanis have been affected by the deluge.

The losses in Pakistan exceed $30 billion. This much in aid is needed to help the flood victims.

Floods destroyed at least 4 million acres of farmland, and with large areas still underwater, new crops cannot be sown.

According to preliminary estimates, 65 percent of Pakistan’s main food crops—including 70 percent of its rice—have been swept away during the floods.

Pakistan's Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal says 45 percent of agricultural land is now destroyed.

The World Health Organization in its latest report has indicated that there are tens of thousands of patients of diarrhea, malaria and various acute infections in affected regions.

Pakistan’s top climate official, Sherry Rehman, called the crisis a “climate-induced humanitarian disaster of epic proportions.”

It's time to help Pakistan now. Contact your representatives and ask them to send aid to Pakistan.
