On June 8, 2024, at 12 p.m., a protest for the people of Gaza
will be held at Lafayette Park, 1600 H St NW Washington, DC 20004. This date
marks the 54th anniversary of the occupation of Gaza and eight months of the
Israel-Hamas War affecting the Palestinian people. The organizers of the event
ask that everyone who attends dress in red. "Wearing red, we'll show the world
that we are the red line. We demand an immediate ceasefire, an end to the siege
on Gaza, the freedom of all Palestinian prisoners & an end to the occupation of
Palestine," ANSWER Coalition posted on X about the upcoming event.
