 GAZA’S CHILDREN GRADUATE ALONE

CAPS, GOWNS, AND EMPTY SEATS:  GAZA’S CHILDREN GRADUATE ALONE

In Khan Younis, Gaza, more than 1,000 children who have lost one or both parents to the war walked across the stage at Al Wafaa Village’s first-ever graduation ceremony.

Wearing caps and gowns, clutching photos of the loved ones they miss, the six-to-13-year-olds shed tears in the absence of their parents.
