Earth Future Action endorses Zohran
Mamdani for New York City Mayor. He is a real person with real
solutions for New Yorkers. Though he started at merely 2% in the polls, he now
holds a commanding lead. Despite constant attacks by the establishment,
Mamdani has shown great courage in being the only candidate with an
intelligent position on Palestine, calling out Israel’s apartheid and saying
that he will arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he were to
step foot in New York City.
The success of the Zohran Mamdani campaign is not
merely important for New York City; he also represents a new direction for
progressive politics in this country. Unlike most democratic politicians who
are too scared to speak up for Palestine or bought off by the Israel lobby,
Mamdani has been an activist for Palestine since his college years. Mamdani
isn’t afraid of the big billionaire and Zionist money being funneled into his
opposition.
Zohran Mamdani is the best candidate for New York
City. While we don’t agree with all his views, we think Mamdani can create a
better and more affordable New York City.
